For anyone supporting AAC users, this course provides knowledge and strategies to support AAC users with their mental health and a range of approaches, tools and insights to address the unique challenges that AAC users can face.

Explore these ideas and strategies in 6 lessons:

- Empowerment and advocacy
- Challenges and complexities
- Complementary therapies
- Supporting tools

This course will also provide references to relevant research and websites, allowing participants to delve deeper into each topic.

Upon finishing the course attendees will be familiar with effective strategies to support the mental health of AAC users.

This course is an intermediate course, designed for those with some knowledge of AAC.

This course will take you 3-4 hours to complete and includes an end-of-course knowledge check.
